Born in Winnipeg, this right winger played with the Boston Cubs, Can-American Champs in 1936. In four NHL seasons with Chicago Black Hawks and Boston Bruins, he played 123 games, scored 21 goals, 41 assists, 62 points. In 11 seasons in the AHL, he played 548 games, 288 goals, 265 assists, 553 points. He won an AHL championship with Cleveland in 1939 and the AHL scoring championship in 1947. He was the first player to score 250 goals in the AHL and was a First Team All-Star three times and Second Team All-Star twice.
