Born Winnipeg. In 7 NHL seasons with the St. Louis Eagles, Detroit and New York Americans, this right winger played 177 games, scored 21 goals, 38 assists, 59 points. He won Stanley Cups with Detroit in 1936 and 1937 and scored the winning goal in their first Stanley Cup in 1936. He played in the AHL; his 77 points in 1942 set a league record at the time. Pete Kelly was Director of Athletics, University of New Brunswick from 1947-1977.
