Kryschuk, Mike

Born in Cooks Creek, Kryschuk played hockey with St. Paul's College in the MJHL and senior in the Manitoba League. He turned his attention to coaching at an early age and piloted the East Kildonan Bisons to the 1934-35 provincial juvenile crown. From that team, Wally Stanowski, Johnny McCreedy, Alf Pike, Terry Reardon and Pete Langelle all went on to play with NHL teams that won the Stanley Cup. Mike Kryschuk also coached the St. Boniface Seals to the 1937-38 Memorial Cup.
