Born in Winnipeg, this right winger played with the Winnipeg Monarchs who won the 1937 Memorial Cup, with the Trail Smoke Eaters who won the Allan Cup in 1938 and with Trail when they won the World Championship in 1939. He won another Allan Cup with the 1940 Kirkland Lake Blue Devils. Johnny McCreedy was also on Stanley Cup winners with Toronto Maple Leafs in 1942 and 1945. He holds the distinction of playing on Memorial Cup, Allan Cup and Stanley Cup and World champion teams.
