Gordon, Jackie

Born in Winnipeg, he played three NHL seasons with the New York Rangers. He was the playing coach of the Cleveland Barons of the AHL for 10 years and GM for five years. Gordon coached the Minnesota North Stars from 1969 to 1974, was their GM from 1974 to 1977, and then scouted for them for two years. Jackie Gordon then spent 11 years with the Vancouver Canucks; as Asst. GM from 1979 to 1984, GM and Director of Hockey Operations in 1985 and 1986, Senior Vice-President 1987 and Senior Advisor from 1987 to 1991.
