Born in Winnipeg, this centreman played junior with Tammany Tigers. He won an Allan Cup with Port Arthur in 1926. Art Chapman spent 10 NHL seasons with Boston Bruins and the New York Americans and was on the 2nd NHL All-Star Team 1937. He coached Buffalo to AHL Championship 1942-43 and 1943-44 and was later named General Manager.
