Abbott Cup Champions

The St. Boniface Canadiens won the Abbott Cup by defeating the Lethbridge Native Sons. They went on to lose the Memorial Cup to the Barrie Flyers. The Flyers' roster included Don Cherry who scored two goals in the final series against the Canadiens.
