Born in Gold Rock, Ontario, this left winger played junior hockey with the Kenora Thistles and later joined the senior Winnipegs who won both the 1931 Allan Cup and the 1932 Olympic crown. Lindquist also played with the senior Winnipeg Monarchs who won the World Championship in 1935. Vic Lindquist was a respected referee who, in thirty years, over saw hundreds of games at the local, provincial, national and international levels.
