Taylor, Ted
Date of Birth: 1942-02-25Born in Oak Lake, this left winger played three junior seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings, MJHL champions in 1960 and 1962. He played six NHL seasons with the New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, Minnesota North Stars and Vancouver Canucks. In the AHL he played with Baltimore Clippers, Pittsburgh Hornets (the 1967 Calder Cup champions), and the Rochester Americans. He also played for Vancouver Canucks, the 1969 and 1970 WHL champions. He was team captain of the WHA Houston Aeros, 1974 and 1975 Avco Cup champions. In 586 pro games, he scored 146 goals, 1972 assists, 343 points.
