Harris, Ted

Born in Winnipeg, this defenceman played with the 1955 Manitoba junior champion Winnipeg Monarchs. He moved up to the AHL and played on two championship teams with Springfield in 1961 and 1962 and then with Cleveland in 1964. He played 788 games in 12 seasons in the NHL, was on five Stanley Cup winners, four with Montreal and one with Philadelphia. Ted Harris also coached the Minnesota North Stars for three years from 1975-77.
