Gordon Stratton
Born in Winnipeg, this right winger spent four years in the MJHL with Winnipeg Black Hawks and Winnipeg Barons (1951-55). In his final year, he and brother Art (inducted in 1989) tied as MJHL scoring champions. He played two years in the WHL pro league with Brandon Regals and Winnipeg Warriors. He then was with Troy (IHL) in 1957 and 1958. Back in the WHL, he scored four winning goals for the Spokane Comets in the 1962 play-offs. He then played in the rugged EHL for 13 seasons (New Haven, Long Island and New Jersey) and was with the EHL champion Long Island Ducks in 1965. After playing in the WHL, AHL, IHL and EHL, Stratton retired in 1972 recording 474 goals and 502 assists for 976 points.
