Born in Winnipeg, this left winger played junior hockey with YMLC in 1918 -1919 and senior with the Winnipeg Falcons who won the Allan Cup and the first Olympic champion ship in 1920. In 1927 he scored the winning goal as the Duluth Hornets defeated Minneapolis in the AHA final. He was player-coach at Kansas City in 1934 when that team won the AHA title. Mike Goodman retired in 1938 after 16 seasons in the AHA.
