Bend, Lin

Born in Poplar Point, this centreman was the 1942 MJHL scoring champion, named to the First All-Star Team and a member of the 1942 Memorial Cup champion Portage la Prairie Terriers. Lin Bend played eight games with the New York Rangers before military service. He played six seasons in the AHL and USHL. He was a member of the 1948-49 St. Paul Saints, USHL champions.
