Henry, Jim (Sugar Jim)

Born in Winnipeg, this goaltender played junior hockey in Brandon and was on the team that won the Manitoba title. He was with the Regina Rangers in 1940-41 and with Ottawa in 1942-43 when those teams won the Allan Cup. "Sugar Jim" joined the Canadian Armed Forces during World War II. He played 9 NHL seasons and ap peared in 405 games with 27 shutouts and a 2.87 GAA. He was voted to the NHL Second All-Star team in 1952 while he was a member of the Boston Bruins.
