Hughes, Howie

Born in St. Boniface, this right winger played his junior hockey with the St. Boniface Canadiens who won the MJHL crown in 1957-58. In 1959 he played for the Memorial Cup champion Winnipeg Braves as a pickup. As a pro, he played three seasons in the NHL with the Los Angeles Kings and in the IHL, WHL, CPHL and CHL and was a member of the 1966-67 WHL champion Seattle Totems.
