Baizley, Don

Born in Kenora, ON, Baizley played two seasons in the MJHL with the St. Boniface Canadiens and Winnipeg Rangers. With more than thirty years of hockey experience as a player agent, he is known for his dedication and hard work towards the betterment of the game. He was one of the first to assist European players to come to North America in the seventies and opened the door for many others that followed. Baizley was an important mediator during the 2004 - 05 lockout between the NHLPA and the NHL. He consistently appeared on The Hockey News list of the 100 people of power and influence in the sport, and is recognized as a true ambassador of hockey not only in Manitoba but throughout North America and around the world.
