Giles, Curt
Date of Birth: 1958-10-30Born in The Pas, this defenceman was first noticed at the University of Minnesota-Duluth where he played for four years and was selected to the NCAA All-American and WCHA First All-Star teams in 1978 and 1979. He began his NHL career with Minnesota North Stars and played with the New York Rangers and the St. Louis Blues. Curt Giles played 895 NHL games and scored 43 goals, 199 assists for 242 points. He was also a key member of Team Canada which won a silver medal at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville, France.
