Bobby played junior with the Flin Flon Bombers. He won the MJHL scoring title in 1967 and lead the WHL in scoring in 1968 and 1969. In 1972-73 he became the first expansion team player to record a 100 point season. At 23, his team leadership was recognized as coach Fred Shero named him team captain. Clarke won 3 Hart Trophies and the Lester B. Pearson Trophy. He was essential to the Flyer's 2 Stanley Cup championships in 1974 & 1975. He was the recipient of the Masterton & Selke Trophies. He played 15 NHL seasons, 1144 games, scored 358 goals, had 852 assists for 1210 points and was named to four NHL All-Star Teams.
