Date of Birth: 1935-10-08Born in Winnipeg. In 1954-55 with the MJHL Winnipeg Barons, this centreman became the first player in league history to record a 50 goal season. In a 19 year pro career he played 1190 games in the NHL, AHL, WHL, CPHL and EPHL. He won the 1962-63 AHL Calder Cup with the Buffalo Bisons. In 1965 with Buffalo he led the AHL in scoring and was the league MVP. In the following two seasons with St. Louis, he won the CPHL scoring title and was league MVP. A perennial All-Star in almost every league he played in, he finished his career with 378 goals, 904 assists, for 1282 points.
