2023 Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame Hockey Heritage Community Award

The 2023 Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame Hockey Heritage Community Award recipient has been announced, and it's the East Selkirk Recreation Centre.

Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame Past-President Don Kuryk and Vice-President Murray Allan dropped by the office and presented a cheque for $10,000 to the East Selkirk Recreation Centre staff.

The prize amount is offered annually to Manitoba hockey communities in partnership with Sigfusson Northern Ltd.

In Selkirk, the funding will go towards restoration and improvements to the East Selkirk Recreation Centre.
