KENNEDY, LYNDON ADDED TO MANITOBA SPORTS HALL OF FAME
Congratulations to Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame member Sheldon Kennedy on his induction to the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame. After winning Gold at the 1988 World Juniors and following that up with a Memorial Cup, Sheldon was a 4th round pick of the Detroit Red Wings and was a solid contributor over 300 NHL games.
Also inducted was Ralph Lyndon. A multi-sport athlete, Ralph played for the MJHL Winnipeg Monarchs before attending the University of North Dakota. In 1959, Ralph led the Fighting Sioux to the NCAA Frozen Four title.
