Mann, Jim
Date of Birth: 1928-08-07Born in Brandon, Manitoba Jim enjoyed a hockey career that spanned over 35 years as a player and as a coach. His first season behind the bench was in 1960-61 with Brandon AA Midget hockey club who captured the Manitoba championship. The following year he handled the Brandon Cloverleafs who won the Intermediate AA Provincial crown. Jim coached the Brandon University Bobcats from 1964-71 who excelled in the South West Hockey League and the Western Canada Inter-Collegiate Association play. In 1976 he piloted the Brandon Olympics of the CASH League to the Manitoba Senior final losing to the St. Boniface Mohawks. He was inducted into the Brandon University Hall of Fame as a builder in 1998.
