Lefley, Bryan

Born in Winnipeg, Lefley played his minor hockey in Winnipeg and Warren, and was on provincial champions at every level. He was with the MJHL Winnipeg Rangers for three years (1965-1967). He turned pro in 1969 and was on two CHL Champion teams in Omaha in 1970 and 1971. The defenseman played 228 games in the NHL with 7 goals, 29 assists, and 36 points before going to Europe. He began his coaching career in Bern, Switzerland in 1980. Bryan Lefley was coaching in Europe until his untimely accidental death.
