Born in Winnipeg, Ralph served in Hockey Manitoba for over thirty years as a junior representative, Director of Junior "A" Hockey as finance chairman. He has represented Hockey Manitoba for 38 years at the Hockey Canada Annual General Meetings. Involved the last 36 years as a builder and administrator in minor and junior hockey with Hockey Manitoba and Hockey Canada. The ultimate fundraiser for hockey, over the years Ralph has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for minor and junior hockey in this province. He owned the MJHL St. Boniface Saints for 28 years before selling in 2002. Won the volunteer of the year award in 1992 and named volunteer of the Millennium by Hockey Manitoba. He is also an active director of the Manitoba Hockey Foundation.
