Allum, Bill

Born in Winnipeg, this fine defenceman played 348 games in seven seasons and won the 1943 AHL championship with Buffalo. He was also a member of the 1951 Owen Sound Mercurys, who won the Allan Cup. He also helped Owen Sound win the Mann Cup for Canadian Box Lacrosse. Bill Allum began his coaching career in early 1950s and coached the Winnipeg Braves when they won the 1959 Memorial Cup.
