Miller, Perry
Date of Birth: 1952-06-24Born in Winnipeg, Perry Miller played both defence and left wing. In 1971 and 1972, he played junior with the West Kildonan North Stars of the MJHL. The following season, he joined the Charlotte Checkers of the EHL. In 1974, while with Charlotte, he was named to the SHL second all-star team.
Miller moved to the WHA where he played 188 games with the Winnipeg Jets and 13 with the Minnesota Fighting Saints.
In 1977, he signed with Detroit Red Wings of the NHL as a free agent. Over the next six seasons, he played 217 games with Detroit and 117 games in the AHL with Adirondack Red Wings. Miller retired after the 1981-82 season.
