Born in Winnipeg, this centreman played junior with the 1931 Memorial Cup champion Elmwood Millionaires, and the 1932 Memorial Cup Finalist Winnipeg Monarchs. Norm Yellowlees won the 1935 World Hockey championship with the Winnipeg Senior Monarchs in Davos, Switzerland.
