Born in St. James, this centreman played in the MJHL with St. James and with the 1946 Memorial Cup Champion Winnipeg Monarchs. He turned pro with the Toronto Maple Leafs and was with the Leafs when they won the 1949 Stanley Cup. He was also a member of the 1951 AHL Calder Cup Champion Cleveland Barons. He played briefly with Chicago Black Hawks in 1951-52 before returning to the AHL. Harry Taylor played 465 games with 116 goals, and 204 assists for 320 points.
