Born in Brandon, this centreman played junior with the 1942 Memorial Cup finalists Oshawa Generals. He spent two NHL seasons with the Boston Bruins and the New York Rangers in 1944 and 1945. Chuck Scherza spent 11 seasons in the American Hockey League, winning a Calder Cup championship in 1949. His pro career record in 726 games played was 165 goals scored, 329 assists, for a total of 494 points.
