Northcott, Baldy

Born in Calgary, Alberta, this left winger broke into the NHL in 1929 with the Montreal Maroons and played 10 seasons with them. In 1932 he made the NHL First All-Star Team and led the Maroons to the 1935 Stanley Cup, scor ing the winning goal. In 11 NHL seasons Northcott played 508 games with 84 goals, 108 assists for 192 points. After he retired, Lawrence "Baldy" Northcott coached the 1941 Winnipeg Rangers to the Memorial Cup championship.
