Born in Winnipeg, this centreman played with the Elmwood Millionaires (1928 Provincial junior champs). He played senior hockey for two Manitoba championship teams, Elmwood in 1930 and with the Selkirk Fishermen in 1933. In 1931 and 1933 he led the Senior League in scoring and played with the 1932 Olympic champion Winnipegs, at Lake Placid, New York. He turned pro in 1936 with the AHL Pittsburgh Yellow-Jackets and played four seasons in England before returning home. He turned to coaching in 1942 and spent years in the MJHL with the Winnipeg Monarchs (1946 Memorial Cup).
