Baxter, Paul
Date of Birth: 1955-10-25Born in Winnipeg, this defenceman played all of his minor hockey in his hometown and junior with the Winnipeg Monarchs and Clubs. He turned pro in 1974-75 and had a 13 year procareer, five WHA seasons and eight NHL campaigns. His professional totals were 762 games, 73 goals, 210 assists, 283 points and 2526 penalty minutes. After he retired as a player, Paul Baxter went into coaching and was the assistant coach when the Calgary Flames won the Stanley Cup in 1989.
