Derlago, Bill

Born in Birtle, this centreman played his junior hockey with the WCHL Brandon Wheat Kings where he scored 234 goals in 209 games which made him the third leading goal scorer in WCHL history at the time of his induction. He was also the WCHL's scoring leader in 1976-77 with 178 points in 72 games. Bill Derlago was with five NHL teams including the Vancouver Canucks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, Winnipeg Jets and Quebec Nordiques. He played 555 games in the NHL scoring 189 goals, 227 assists for 416 points.
