Born in Flin Flon, this defenceman played on the 1966 Memorial Cup champion Edmonton Oil Kings. In six NHL seasons with the New York Rangers, Buffalo Sabres and Edmonton Oilers, he played 257 games, scored 10 goals, 78 assists, 88 points. In seven WHA seasons with Edmonton, he played 454 games, with 53 goals, 258 assists, 311 points. His No. 3 sweater jersey was retired by the Edmonton Oilers.
