Born in Selkirk. At the age of 14 this goaltender played junior hockey in his home town in 1922-23 and then went to Alberta in 1924-25 to join the Coleman Senior Tigers. Paul Goodman played 3 seasons in the NHL with the Chicago Blackhawks and was a member of their 1938 Stanley Cup team.
