Douglas, Jordy

Date of Birth: 1958-01-20

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba Jordy Douglas was a left winger who played three years of junior hockey with the Flin Flon Bombers from 1976-78 scoring 60 goals in his last season. Drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1978, but signed later with the WHA New England Whalers. Played with Hartford Whalers in their first NHL season in 1979-80 recording 33 goals, 24 assists and 57 points, highlighted by a four goal game on February 3, 1980 against N.Y. Islanders. Also played on two other NHL teams, Minnesota North Stars and Winnipeg Jets and ended his NHL career in 1985 with 76 goals, 62 assists for a total of 138 points in 268 games.
