McDonald, Dennis
Date of Birth: 1937-04-10Born in Flin Flon, he played in the Winnipeg minor hockey system and was a member of the 1952 provincial juvenile championship team. He was the CAHA Technical Director (1974-86), and CAHA Vice-President (1986 -89). He was the recipient of the Gordon Juckes award (contribution of hockey development in Canada) in 1989. He was Director of Operations for the Canadian junior hockey club (1982-89) and Manager of the 1984 Canadian Olympic team. He also organized a national program for coaches and referees. Dennis McDonald was assistant GM and Director of Hockey Operations for the NHL's Winnipeg Jets from 1989-94.
