Engblom, Brian
Date of Birth: 1955-01-28Defence. Born in Winnipeg, this defenceman played Junior B with Fort Garry and Junior A with the MJHL Winnipeg Monarchs. In 10 NHL seasons with Montreal Canadiens, Washington Capitals, Los Angeles Kings, Buffalo Sabres and Calgary Flames, he played 659 games with 29 goals, 177 assists 206 points; 48 playoff games, 3 goals, 9 assists, 12 points. He won 3 Stanley Cups with the Habs in 1977, 1978 and 1979. Brian Engblom was a Second Team AHL All-Star in 1982-83.
